Operations Manager


The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all service-providing departments and ensuring that they are well-structured, organised and that they deliver their projects effectively and on time.  The role reports to the CEO/Managing Director and also liaises with the sales department to ensure that Sales/Operations are aligned as well as with Finance to ensure that Operations operate within their budgets.


  • To organise the Operations Teams in a way that is efficient and effective to deliver services to clients.
  • To set KPIs for Operations Teams, monitor progress of Operations Teams against these KPIs, discuss progress with Operations Teams and assist them to take any remedial action necessary.
  • To act as the main point of contact to assist the Operations Teams with the day-to-day handling of any issues in service coordination and delivery.
  • To create, maintain and measure a plan of work for the Operations Department.  This is to be done in liaison with Operations employees.
  • To ensure that client relationships are ongoing for clients who have active projects.
  • To ensure a smooth communication between Operations Teams and the Sales Team to facilitate smooth-running of projects.


Qualifications, Experience and Competences

  • Preferably has a minimum of four years management experience in a services environment ideally in a technical or software area.
  • Preferably has at least two years experience dealing with business or technical clients and communicating with C-level at clients.
  • Has the skills and aptitude to motivate, coordinate, nurture and grow employees.
  • Has excellent customer handling skills.
  • Can communicate clearly and fluently (verbal and written) in English.
  • A degree in business or in an IT-related discipline is an asset.
  • Has experience in managing people and projects.
  • Self motivated, a good time-manager and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Is able to own the role and take initiatives within the parameters set by the CEO/Managing Director.



  • Full time role on an indefinite contract.
  • A competitive package made up of basic salary and performance bonuses depending on the experience of the candidate.
